CHARACTER DESIGN 101
This workshop recommended for teens, adults and working professionals.
Participants will provide a character they have already created or create one from scratch; from gesture to the finished product. Building the dynamic character from the ‘inside-out’ with a nod to perspective will help create a stable well constructed 3-dimensional looking character that is ‘believeable’ and alive!
Note: participants must provide their own art supplies; please see note below.
Cost for on-site : $295.

MASCOT WORKSHOP
This workshop recommended forteens, adults and working professionals.
Participants will provide a character they have designed and wish to build on; beginning with a simplified anatomy, we will review various aspects that need some input such as facial contruction, handling hands and feet as well as any applicable clothing.
By imagining a character’s personality and listing what specific traits might inflence a pose- the inspiration behind a ‘readable’ character pose.

CHARACTER DESIGN INTENSIVE
A week long workshop; taking place during the mornings from Monday – Friday 10 am – 1 pm
Participants will learn how to create a character from rough ideas and sketches to the final product similar to an Animation studio ‘Design Pak’.
This includes a character rotation, head and expression studies as well as some full body poses. Drawing hands and feet from all angles as well as adding applicable costume elements will be included.
Exploring that character’s inner life and personality comes first, as who they ‘are’ will influence their poses- bringing them “alive”!
